Flugal Horn - Paul Cartwright

First Horn -   Paul Williams

Paul started to play the trumpet when he was 9 years old under the instruction of Geoff Merkin, and after a little while moved onto the cornet. He has played in several brass and military bands and joined the West Yorkshire Police Band shortly after becoming a Police Officer in 1990. He is currently on a career break whilst he trains to be an Anglican Priest, but continues to play  in the band.

Second Horn -  John Asquith

Solo horn - David Oldroyd

Paul  started his playing career with Todmorden Community Brass Band and joined the police band in 2004. He also plays guitar and keyboards and is currently learning to play the trombone too.
